The CanEx Jamaica Business Conference and Expo is off to a strong start at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St James, with participants engaging in discussion around the burgeoning global cannabis industry over three days.

CanEx, the premier cannabis conference in the Caribbean and Latin America, brings together industry professionals from over 30 countries addressing matters related to the legal cannabis industry, including banking and finance, the business of cannabis, legal issues and advocacy, cannabis cultivation, technology, science and medicine.

Guests of CanEx will hear from Agriculture Minister Audley Shaw, three luminaries from the cannabis industry, Bruce Linton, Cam Battley, and Steve DeAngelo, in addition to over 80 other speakers.

CanEx founder, Douglas Gordon said the conference and expo will provide stakeholders with a platform to engage, share knowledge and build relationships with interested stakeholders.

“If we are going to make this industry thrive, we have to do it with the fulsome knowledge of what works and what doesn’t. That is why we try to do it with a platform like CanEx,” Gordon said in his opening remarks.
