Philip Feanny's Adoration makes smashing debut in Mercury Sprint

Philip Feanny's ADORATION made an impressive debut in Saturday's co-feature for maiden three-year-olds, the Mercury Sprint, winning by nine lengths in 1:00.3 at Caymanas Park.

In the fillies-only Eight Thirty Sprint, ATTORNEY GENERAL ran through to win by three-and-a-quarter lengths, overhauling 3-5 favourite, NATIVE GOLD, who weakened out of contention.

Veteran rider Ian Spence was aboard ADORATION whereas Aaron Chatrie rode ATTORNEY GENERAL, who clocked 1:01.1

Anthony Thomas rode two winners on the 11-race card, 6-5 favourite LUANA in the seventh, and CHIEF DIPLOMAT, at odds of 3-1, in the 10th.
