Palace Amusement led gains during Tuesday’s trading

Palace Amusement (PAL) led gains on Tuesday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
PAL gained 28.21 per cent to close at $1,000.00, followed by Proven Investments Limited USD (Proven) up 9.79 per cent to close at $0.22. The largest decline was Sterling Investments Limited (SIL) down 27.93 per cent to close at $10.01
The JSE Combined Index declined by 71.00 points (0.02 per cent) to close at 308,057.01. The JSE Index advanced by 67.74 points (0.02 per cent) to close at 299,726.51. The Junior Market Index declined by 12.20 points (0.41 per cent) to close at 2,976.62. The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 8.43 points (5.13 per cent) to close at 172.87.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 49 stocks of which 20 advanced, 20 declined and 9 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 9,794,862 units valued at over $69,800,158.72.
Lasco Distributors Limited was the volume leader with 4,423,848 units (45.16 per cent) followed by Supreme Ventures Limited with 2,148,082 units (21.93 per cent) and Ciboney Group Limited with 841,130 units (8.59 per cent).
