Opening hours for businesses in Corporate Area state of emergency

The Jamaica Defence Force on Monday announced the operation hours for businesses in sections of Kingston and St Andrew that are now under a state of public emergency.

The following are the opening and closing hours that are applicable to businesses.

- Clubs and fast food restaurants - 7:00am to 9:00pm 
- Bars and Taverns - 9:00am to 8:00 pm 
- Gas Stations - 6:00am to 9:00pm
- Supermarkets, grocery shops, haberdasheries, cookshops and any other place - 8:00am to 7:00 pm 
- Pharmacies - 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Churches - 9:00am to 9:00pm
- Any other public place - 9:00am to 7:00pm

state of emergency has been imposed in the Kingston Western, Kingston Central and St Andrew South police divisions, to combat rampant criminality.
