One injured in Seaforth gun attack

Three men were lucky to escape the wrath of gunmen in a shooting incident in Seaforth, St Thomas on Tuesday night.

One of the men, however, received a gunshot wound and remains hospitalised.

According to the police, about 8.30 pm, three men were walking along the Seaforth main road when they heard loud explosions.

The men allegedly ran and, minutes later, one of them discovered that he had been shot in the back.

He was assisted to the hospital, where he was admitted in stable condition.

The St Thomas police have since launched a probe.

The shooting came less than 24 hours after taxi operator, 33-year-old Mickhail Simpson of Montpellier, was found shot to death in Yallahs.
