NWC advises of widespread water disruptions in Corporate Area

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that some of its customers in the Corporate Area will have disruptions in their regular water supply this week.

This, as the water utility continues its ongoing non-revenue water reduction programme in conjunction with co-management partners Miya International.

The NWC said it will be conducting system maintenance works in several sections of the Corporate Area this week.

These works are scheduled to facilitate valve and meter installations which will result in water supply disruptions to the following areas:

Tuesday, February 13 and Wednesday, February 14 from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am

Areas to be affected will include: Constant Spring, Norbrook, Cherry Gardens, Havendale, Half-Way-Tree, Lady Musgrave, Liguanea, Manor Park, Shortwood, Eastwood Park Gardens, Hughenden,Constant Spring Road, Constant Spring Gardens, Camperdown, Mannings Hill Road, Red Hills Road, Arlene Gardens, Roehampton, Calabar Mews, Zaidie Gardens and State Gardens.

Thursday February 15 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

Areas to be affected will include: August Town, Hope Flats, Papine, Gordon Town, Mona Heights, Hope Road, Beverly Hills, Hope Pastures, Ravina, Liguanea, Up Park Camp, Gordon Town and environs, Papine, Kintyre and Hope Flats.

Friday, February 16, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm

Area to be affected: Stony Hill

Customers are being encouraged to store water for use during the disruption period specified. Additionally, motorists and pedestrians are being advised to observe the traffic signals of the work crews on site
