Nicaraguans held in Jamaican waters charged with illegal landing Loop News Created : 11 February 2018 Jamaica News The four Nicaraguan men who were taken into police custody after being picked up in the waters close to the runway at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James on Monday afternoon, have been charged with Illegal entry into Jamaica. The accused, all of Nicaraguan addresses, are: Ernesto Blandon, 54; Dervin Berndliss, 29; Kayson Blandon, 20; and Snerydon Alexander, 18. Reports are that the four Nicaraguans were held by a Marine Police team at about 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The quartet was taken from a 30-foot boat called ‘Miss Dailin’. They are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, February 15.
