NCB to discontinue in-branch cash transactions at Chapelton
NCB is promoting its Bank on the Go Self Service.
NCB customers will no longer be able to conduct in-branch cash transactions at the company’s Chapelton location in Clarendon, effective Monday July 16.
An expanded fleet of three ABMs, including two intelligent ABMs will facilitate cash transactions at the branch, NCB said in a release on Friday.
NCB said it has put systems in place to assist customers as it migrates cash transactions to self-service intelligent ABMs, in a bid to promote its Bank on the Go Self Service.
“Our lobby officers are available to assist customers that may require assistance in using our self-service intelligent ABMs and kiosks. Customers also have the option of visiting the May Pen branch, which continues to offer the full range of banking services, or any other branch of their choice,” NCB said.
As for business deposits, the bank said that transaction will be accommodated by its trusted courier partners. All other branch services previously available will continue.

Its Fairview, Portmore, Mandeville and Black River branches have already seen changes in branch format.
