The Munro College Old Boys Association (MCOBA) is calling for a swift and thorough investigation into the murder of two of its past students Akiele Davis and Reynold Kerr.

The bodies of the two men were fished from the Dallas River in St Andrew last month.

Investigators believe the victims were travelling in a car that belongs to one of their family members when they were ambushed, killed and the vehicle (was) stolen.

In a statement, MCOBA described said it was shocked and deeply saddened by the by the brutal killings of its fellow Munronians.

MCOBA said: "two promising young lives snuffed out in the prime of their youth, wantonly killed at the hands of vicious murderers in the most inhumane way."

Davis was a student of the University of Technology (UTech), and Kerr a student of the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU).

“To their families and friends, we offer our sincere sympathies and condolences,” MCOBA said.

The association went on to appeal to anyone with information to assist police with the investigation.
