Munro, Hampton among St Elizabeth areas without water for days

The National Water Commission (NWC) has apologised to its customers who are served by the Parklee deep well in St Elizabeth for the ongoing disruption in their water supply due to mechanical challenges at the pumping facility.
A maintenance team is said to be working to resolve the challenges and restore water to the affected areas by Wednesday, August 22.
The affected areas include Malvern, Munro, Hampton, Bethlehem, Belleview, Housing Scheme, Top Hill, Southfield, Seaview, Congo Hole, Yardley Chase, St. Mary’s, Portsea, Milksham, Red Bank, Round Hill, Top Flagaman and surrounding areas.
The NWC has expressed regret at the inconvenience to the customers, and asked for their patience and understanding during the period of dislocation.
