Motorist stabbed to death in mob attack after 'splashing' pedestrian

Police have intensified their search for a group of men who attacked and stabbed a motorist to death after they accused him of splashing a pedestrian while driving.

The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Okeve Sewell of Chisholm Avenue, Kingston.

Reports from the Hunts Bay Police are that about 5.15 pm on Thursday, Sewell reportedly splashed a pedestrian while driving along Ricketts Crescent, Kingston, St Andrew.

An argument developed between him and a group of men when he was attacked and stabbed several times. The Police were alerted and on their arrival Sewell was seen with wounds to his neck and head.

The crime scene was processed and the body was removed to the morgue. Investigations continue as police search for the perpetrators.
