Motorcyclist killed in Hanover crash

A motorcyclist died as a result of injuries he sustained during an accident in Hanover Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as tourism attraction employee, Durval Samuels of an Askenish, Hanover address.

Reports are that about 10:45pm, Samuels was driving his motorcycle along the Tryall main road in Hanover when he lost control and hit an embankment.

He sustained multiple injuries and was taken to the Noel Holmes Hospital in Lucea, Hanover where he was pronounced dead.

The Sandy Bay police are investigating.
