Moon Palace Jamaica last weekend hosted its exclusive second annual Chaîne des Rôtisseurs dinner that saw the world’s oldest, largest and most prestigious food and wine society converged at the all-inclusive gem for an evening of fine local cuisine and fanfare prepared by the island’s crème de la crème of chefs and culinary experts.

Attended by VIP Chaîne members, as well as food and wine aficionados from around the world, the Jamaica chapter welcomed invitees to delight in specialties prepared under the guise of Jamaica’s famed-chefs, with menu items featuring local ingredients, a tribute to Caribbean, as well as around-the-world delicacies.

Clifton Reader, Managing Director of Moon Palace Jamaica and also an honorary Chaîne member said, “I could not have been more honored to host the highly acclaimed dinner for the Bailliages of Jamaica, a melting pot of the very best that our island has to offer in terms of food and flavors. Jamaica is known for its bold, flavorful dishes, and the island has so many best kept secrets and one-of-a-kind fusions as it relates to food, so leveraging Moon Palace’s expertise in this area only reinforces the level of commitment that we have for our culinary offerings, not just today, but every day.”

Many of the culinary world’s most celebrated chefs are members of the Chaîne and only the best culinary properties are asked to host the dinner. This tribute is a testament to Moon Palace’s focus on international cuisine and gastronomy.

The evening celebrated the flavors of the Caribbean and spotlighted deconstructed dishes as a way to inspire creativity and ingenuity.
