'Mi nah switch': Iyara rubbishes Alliance departure claims

Dancehall artiste Iyara is moving quickly to rubbish claims that he has parted ways with the Bounty Killer-led Alliance.

The rumours started circulating recently after the artiste was linked with a United States-based independent label that has been pushing his career and had been further perpetuated when Bounty Killer went on a European tour without Iyara.

These concatenation of events has armed what Iyara calls the 'rumour-mongers' who have started a propaganda campaign to damage his friendship with the Warlord.

"Because dem see Killer gone a Europe and mi never go, and dem see me ah link with a foreign label and a collaborate on some projects, dem start with them propaganda, but the Killer ah go forward pon Saturday and quash dem negative vibes de," told Loop reporter Claude Mills.

"Mi nah switch from the Alliance," he said, adding that  "Killer ah mi general for life".

Ironically, Iyara recently recorded a new single called Loyalty which he hopes will make it on a soon-to-be released EP featuring collaborations with  Bounty Killer, Bunji Garlin and Wayne Wonder.

The EP, titled Proven, will be available on all digital platforms next Friday, May 18th.
