Met Service forecasts unstable weather up to at least Monday

The Meteorological Service has advised that there is a deep trough in the vicinity of Jamaica that will continue to influence weather conditions across the island for the next few days.

On Saturday the Met Service said the forecast is for periods of light to moderate showers that could turn into thunderstorms across the island.

It said the rains could continue through to Monday.

The met service advised that sea conditions are expected to deteriorate in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms, due to gusty winds.
