Men charged for fatal attack on sleeping father and son in East Kgn

Detectives from the Kingston Eastern Police Division have charged three men with the murder of 46-year-old Kevin Llewellyn and the injury of his son at their home on Sligo Street, Kingston 16 on Monday, August 27.

Charged with murder, shooting with intent, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition are 28-year-old Romario Pottinger, otherwise called ‘Brown Man’; 23-year-old Rhajay Green, otherwise called ‘Suckoo’; and 23-year-old Stephen Myers, otherwise called ‘Evil Boss’, all of Kingston 16 addresses.

Reports are that about 4:20 a.m. on August 27, Llewelyn and his son were asleep at their home when armed men kicked in a door to their bedroom and opened gunfire, hitting them both.

Pottinger and Green were arrested during a joint police/military operation on September 13, and was charged on September 21.

Myers was arrested on September 18 and on September 20.

All three accused men are booked to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday, October 2.
