Mayberry, Sagicor X Fund led gains during Tuesday’s trading

Mayberry Investments and Sagicor X Fund led gains on Tuesday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).

Sagicor X Fund gained 5.0 per cent to close at $14.81 while Mayberry gained 4.5 per cent to close at $7.00. Mayberry is trending back towards its 52 week high of $7.51. Leading declines was Pulse Investments down 31 per cent to $2.32.

During trading, Lasco Financial Services Limited was the volume leader with 2,755,556 units (43 per cent) followed by Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited with 758,030 units (11.8 per cent) and WISYNCO Group with 584,757 units (9.1 per cent).

The JSE Combined Index declined by 792.28 points ( 0.25 per cent) to close at 315,560.19. The Junior Market Index declined by 6.18 points ( 0.20 per cent) to close at 3,029.94. The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 9.82 points ( 6.57 per cent) to close at 139.56.

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 49 stocks of which 14 advanced, 26 declined and 9 traded firm.

Market volume amounted to 6,399,716 units valued at over $98.9 million.
