Man killed, two injured in Canaan Heights gun attack

A man was killed and two others injured in a gun attack in Canaan Heights, Clarendon on Monday afternoon.

The deceased has so far only been identified by his alias, "Pops". He's reportedly a close relative of a People's National Party councillor in the central Jamaica parish which is currently under a state of emergency.

Reports are that about 3.20 pm, residents reported hearing several explosions and alerted the police. Upon the lawmen's arrival, three persons were found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to hospital where "Pops" succumbed to his injury and the other two admitted.
