Man charged with wounding of two young sisters in Old Harbour
The man who reportedly chopped two young sisters at their home in Old Harbour, St Catherine last month, has been charged by the police.
Charged with wounding with intent and sexual assault is 24-year-old Timothy Tulloch of Marlie Acres in Old Harbour.
The accused, who is reportedly a neighbour of the girls, aged 11 and 13, is expected to appear in the St Catherine Parish Court later this week.
Reports are that on Tuesday, January 28, sometime after 9pm, the girls’ stepfather left them at home in the Marlie Acres community to go and meet their mother.
Tulloch is believed to have then gone to the house where the girls were, where he reportedly held the 13-year-old girl and was in the process of sexually molesting her when he was reportedly caught in the act by the other sister.
In response, Tulloch allegedly became extremely violent, and reportedly inflicted chop wounds to both girls before fleeing the scene.
The girls' parents returned home and found them badly injured.
They were rushed to a hospital, where they were treated.
The suspect turned himself in to the police the following day, and was arrested and subsequently charged.
