Man caught urinating on police station wall arrested

A man who was caught urinating on the walls of the City Centre Police Station in downtown Kingston is to spend 60 hours washing and disinfecting the facility.

Reports are that about 8:00 pm on December 22 last year, the man identified as Lincill Muschette of the Portmore Country Club housing development in St. Catherine was caught carrying out the illegal activity and arrested and charged with breaches of the Litter Act.

He was sentenced to do community service in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday,January 26.

The Minister of Local Government Desmond McKenzie indicated last September that he would have been proposing stiffer penalties under the Litter Act for persons who continued to dispose of their solid waste illegally.
