Main Event led gains during Monday's trading

Main Event Entertainment Limited led gains during Monday's trading on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).

Main Event gained 15 per cent to close at $6.80.Meanwhile, the JSE gained 11 per cent to close at $27.60.

Pulse Investments led declines down 11 per cent to close at $2.52.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 4,264.65 points ( 0.93  per cent) to close at 462,650.86.

The JSE Index advanced by 4,890.41 points (1.06  per cent) to close at 466,638.80. The Junior Market Index declined by 21.23 points ( 0.68  per cent) to close at 3,090.61. The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 4.19 points (2.22  per cent) to close at 184.78. The JSE Financial Index advanced by 1.91 points ( 1.56  per cent) to close at 124.42.

The overall Market activity resulted from trading in 63 stocks of which 26 advanced, 28 declined and nine traded firm.

Market volume amounted to 44,434,492 units valued at over $225,788,380.37. 

Wigton Windfarm was the volume leader with 40,021,022 units (90.07 per cent)followed by Victoria Mutual with 794,000 units (1.79 per cent) and NCB Financial Group with 591,773 units (1.33 per cent).
