Jamaican legend Usain Bolt will return to action at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London on Saturday for his final major championship appearance.

Bolt, the 30-year-old eight-time Olympic champion, will retire from track and field after the World Championships.

He ended his individual appearance on a losing note in last Saturday's 100m final as Justin Gatlin took gold and fellow American Christian Coleman silver. Bolt won the bronze medal.

It was the first time Bolt had lost a World Championships 100m final he had started, having been disqualified for a false start in Daegu in 2011.

The heat will take place in the morning session with the final in the afternoon session.

Bolt will anchor Jamaica in the heats.

He  is set to receive the baton from Michael Campbell.

Tyquendo Tracey is set to lead off Jamaica while his training partner Julian Forte will be the backstretch runner.

Jamaica has not lost the men’s 4x100m relay since 2009.
