LONDON 2017: Day 8 schedule for Jamaicans at World Championships

National champion Danielle Williams will be in action at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London on Friday as she begins her campaign to defend her 100-metre hurdles title.

The 24-year-old Williams will run out of lane five in heat one. Three other Jamaicans will compete in sprint hurdles. They are Megan Simmonds, who was second at the national championships, Yanique Thompson  and Rushelle Burton.

The four sprint hurdlers are among seven Jamaicans down to compete on the day.
