Let’s talk...Would you stay in a loveless relationship for your child?

People stay in relationships long after the sparks have ended for many different reasons.

For some, it’s the continuance of a lifestyle that they have become accustomed to, or it could be a hope that things will start working out again, or just a matter of convenience.

Some individuals though, remain in the relationship with the hope of providing a stable surrounding for their child(ren), while waiting on adulthood for the opportunity to officially end the partnership. This can be backed up by numerous studies that show that generally, children living with both parents do better in every aspect of life than those living with a single parent.

Loop News reporter Job Nelson and videographer Marlon Reid went on the road to find out from Jamaicans whether they would stay in a loveless relationship for their child or children. Watch the video below.
