After gaining work experience and extra money as a brand ambassador for several companies while attending university, Kristofferson Nunes is giving other young people that same opportunity.

Nunes, now the CEO of UCA (University College Ambassadors), has linked some 3,000 students with jobs for several companies locally, since officially establishing the company in January.

“It’s a hub for students to gain work experience and for brands to gain access to that 18-24 age group of influencers,” the 23-year-old told Young People in Business.

Interestingly, Nunes opted to pursue a degree in Economics and Statistics at the University of West Indies, rather than marketing.

For him, having a sound background in analyzing figures has made him more attractive to clients.

“I always want to present my findings with concrete facts and numbers, so we show the numbers, we show the return on investments,” the Ardenne High School past student shared.
