Caribbean Cream (Kremi) and Caribbean Flavours & Fragrances (CFF) led gains in Friday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Kremi gained 14.3 per cent to close at $6.86 . It was followed by CFF, up 8.4 per cent to close at $10.90.
tTech and Jetcon led declines, down by 10.5 per cent and eight per cent respectively on the day.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2,289.27 points ( 0.77 per cent) to close at 301,351.45. The JSE Index advanced by 2,486.63 points (0.86 per cent) to close at 293,136.03.
The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 2,729.22 points ( 0.86 per cent) to close at 321,733.98. The JSE Select Index advanced by 83.01 points ( 0.95 per cent) to close at 8,848.41.
The Junior Market Index advanced by 0.03 points to close at 2,916.93.
The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 2.33 points (1.39 per cent) to close at 165.39.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 54 stocks of which 29 advanced, 21 declined and four traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 9,969,130 units valued at over $101,369,672.54. ELITE DIAGNOSTIC LIMITED was the volume leader with 2,009,501 units (20.16 per cent) followed by Ciboney Group Limited with 1,362,000 units (13.66 per cent) and Jamaica Producers Group Ltd. with 1,101,566 units (11.05 per cent).
