On Labour Day, last Thursday (May 23), the Windward Road Post Office got a well-deserved facelift when the Jamaica Private Power Company (JPPC) joined hands with over 50 volunteers including the post office staff and members of the community to carry out the culmination of the improvement activities, some of which had started days before.

The goal of the project was to improve the overall aesthetic of the Windward Road Post Office by changing the louvre windows, cleaning of Floor, re-painting the lobby area, the external wall, perimeter wall, mailboxes and lettering above. Now, when over two thousand pensioners visit monthly they will be greeted by a brand new customer area, repainted mailboxes and a freshly painted post office.
