With the lease for the property the restaurant currently occupies on Waterloo Road in St Andrew coming up for renewal, co-owner Anna Chin told Loop News that the principals are “looking at other venues”.
Chin said, while the restaurant has not received any notice from the property owners, it has been exploring its options in anticipation of the expiration of the lease agreement. She did not give an exact timeline for the possible relocation from the venue it has occupied since it was founded some 18 years ago.
Loop News understands from reliable sources that the property owners have their own commercial venture planned for the venue, which is considered prime real estate.
In the meantime, Chin noted that JoJo’s is also looking to expand its footprint to other parts of the island, and has its eyes specifically on the western parish of Hanover.
JoJo’s has established itself among the Corporate Area’s most popular eateries, offering a wide variety of menu items and entertainment options including live music.
