JN Bank waives in-branch fees

Jamaica National (JN) Bank says it has suspended all fees to conduct in-branch transactions in light of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on the island.
MultiLink fees have also been waived from Saturday, March 14 to Sunday, March 22 for persons using their JN Bank debit cards at MultiLink ATMs, or to make purchases in stores.
At the same time, JN Bank said it has responded to challenges regarding the unavailability of its services since last Saturday.
“Our teams have been diligently working since Saturday, March 14 to address challenges that resulted in the unavailability of services via our debit cards, ATMs and online banking platform, JN LIVE, as well as our sister company's JN Money Online and JN Fund Manager’s platforms. Our Saturday banking services in-branch were also affected.:
As of March 16, MultiLink ATM and debit card services are available island-wide.
The following services are also available in-branch:
- Deposits via Drop Box
- Loan payments via Drop Box
- Incoming ACH and wire transfers
- Incoming RTGS transfers
JN Bank Visa Credit Card holders may use their credit cards to conduct transactions.
JN LIVE online banking, however, remains unavailable.
“We have apologised to our members and customers for any inconvenience and continue to keep them updated on our progress,” the bank said.
