Employees of Jamaica Energy Partners and West Kingston Power along with visually impaired representatives from the Jamaica Society for the Blind (JSB) visited two schools to engage the students in reading activities in observance of Read Across Jamaica Day on Tuesday.

As part of the activities,  energy companies also donated age-appropriate books to the students of North Street Primary, Old Harbour Bay Primary, St Wade's Basic and Prophecy Basic schools.

At both North Street and Old Harbour Bay, the representatives from JSB led the reading of braille storybooks to students. JEP and WKPP employees also read to students from Grades one to six.
