Jamaica’s Prime Minister Andrew Holness has called for urgent reforms in the global climate financing system.
He told the United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York it was in urgent need of immediate transformation, support and action to tackle climate change.
“For the past year, Jamaica has been co-leading efforts to make this happen. The transformation must be science-based, technically appropriate, transparent and supported by accurate and inclusive tracking methodologies,” he stressed.
