Jamaican dollar hits new low

The Jamaica dollar now trades at an all-time low.

The currency lost more than $3 during October and now trades at $138.37. 

The dollar started October at $135.05, then dipped to a strong position of $134.80 before quickly weakening to its current levels. 

It hit its previous weakest position of $138.34 on September 6. 

Meanwhile, the British Pound closed at $175.85 and the Canadian dollar closed at $104.81.
