Hola my beauties!
Spring is here and summer is rolling around, so you know what that means, right? The Colour Gods say it’s time to go light!!!! Sun-kissed tresses are the way to go, whether it’s a seamless balayage, highlights or ombre; get some colour in your life! Please and thank you!
As you know I am your local stylist in Jamaica specialising in everything colour, so let me give you the run down on what’s trending for spring into summer 2018 in the hair department.

When it comes to hair colour trends, they don't really change but they shift - which is a good way to describe what’s happening in the hair world this season. Last year we were talking “icy” dimensional blondes, but this year it’s all about warmth! Tones like gold, bronzes and buttery blondes.
The goal for my clients is always “blonde me”. No, boo boo! Not this season! It’s going to be more like “sun-kiss me”! Get into the sunset peach hair, creamy oranges, soft coppers, rich browns, light-golden toffee blond. Cosy up, girls, and look my way for some colour inspiration.
So call your colourist (raises hand…ME!) and let’s get this colour party started! I’m sharing with you throughout this column images of some of my colour work for some mane inspiration! I hope you guys enjoy.
Just an update on my whereabouts: I’m currently newly located at Day and Night Beauty Salon behind CPJ (where Pandora use to be). We open at 10:00AM and close at midnight! Yes! You heard me right, I said midnight! So come on in. You can reach me on my Instagram @hairbybrittanyrae_ and shoot me a DM (it goes down in the DM). Let’s take your hair to the next level and start breaking necks in this place!
Thank you for keeping up with me and catch you two Thursdays from now on Loop Jamaica under the lifestyle section! RAEEEE!
