The eagerly awaited Jamaica Cricket Association's annual general meeting (AGM) and elections will take place on Friday at the Medallion Hall Hotel in St Andrew with incumbent Wilford 'Billy' Heaven facing off with Mark Neita for the top job.

The AGM is set to begin at 3:00 pm with the election being the final item on the agenda.

Just over 100 delegates across the island are eligible to vote.

This will be the second time around that Haven,  a prominent business executive, will be challenged for the top post since becoming president in 2013 when Lyndel Wright did not seek re-election. In that year, Heaven whipped Milton Henry 71-25.

In 2016, Heaven was challenged by Fitz Harris and prevailed 52-47. On this occasion, Heaven now faced a man who was his second vice-president for the last two years.
