ID parades for Kingston Western cops detained by MOCA

Five policemen from the Kingston Western Police Division who have been detained by the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA), are to face identification parades in the coming days.

The revelation was made by detectives from MOCA on Friday.

MOCA officials also confirmed that the police officers were taken into custody for questioning about allegations of extortion and corruption.

The MOCA officials did not provide further details.

Senior members of the Kingston Western Police Division, when contacted about the investigation, declined to comment on the development.
