Thousands of patrons turned up to feast their eyes on the athletic masterclass known as the Racer’s Grand Prix at the National Stadium on Saturday, June 8 for its annual staging.

The meet brought world-class showdowns both on the track and in the field events, with stars such as Asafa Powell, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and spectator retired sprint Legend Usain Bolt.

The theme song for the campaign done by dancehall artistes and campaign ambassadors Ding Dong and Shenseea could be heard around the stadium several times as patrons blended their voices to belt the tune in support of Jamaican competitors from the different events.

The evening ended with a high energy performance from Ding Dong and Ravers Clavers with honorary member “Bolt Ravers” as they sang and danced and “Cha Cha” their way out of the stadium.
