Human skeletal remains discovered in Clarendon

The Chapleton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the skeletal remains believed to be that of a male that was discovered near the Wood Hall main road in Clarendon on Tuesday, August 30.

The remains was seen clad in a red shirt with the words “New York Since 1898” written across the front, a grey jeans pants, blue underpants and a pair of black and white sneakers.

Reports are that about 8 am residents discovered the remains and summoned the police. On the authorities’ arrival the scene was processed.

While investigations continue, anyone who can assist the police in identifying the remains has been urged to contact the Chapleton Police at 987-2244, or the nearest police station.
