Within the community of Hendon, Norwood in Montego Bay lives a very special woman by the name of Esmine Richards-Peterkin.

Mrs Peterkin, though wheelchair bound and retired, teaches at the Central Basic school in the community.

"I'm retired but the kids need me, the community needs me," she said. She has been teaching at the school for a number of years and has been identified as a 'Hero' in her community.

Mrs Richards-Peterkin will be entered into our 'Who's your hero?' campaign to win either a weekend for two at an exquisite all-inclusive hotel or two high-end smartphones.
