Highly anticipated Mother’s Day concert, ‘A Gift for Mom’ will now be held at the National Arena. The event was originally slated to take place at the National Indoor Sports Centre but was moved to the bigger venue based on the overwhelming support leading up to the event.

Event organizers, Main Event Entertainment Group, made the decision in order to ensure that patrons are comfortable while enjoying the likes of Freddie Jackson, Sanchez, Romain Virgo, and Jermaine Edwards. The new venue was renovated recently and promises a premium atmosphere suitable for all mothers and patrons of the concert.

Pre-sold tickets have been selling like hot bread! So we had to go back to the drawing board to ensure we could deliver on our promises,” said Donna Hussey, Corporate Affairs Manager at Main Event Entertainment Group. “Mothers need to be comfortable so the change in venue ensures that all our patrons will be able to come out to a concert that is hassle free, has a comfortable flow and is entertaining.”

‘A Gift for Mom’ will be the first event of this magnitude and nature to be held at the National Arena since the renovations were completed and is expected to pave the way for many events to come.

Event sponsor, Baileys, is on board to ensure that the concert runs smoothly and the atmosphere is premium. “An opportunity to celebrate with our favourite ladies is one that we just could not pass up,” said Jason Hendricks, Red Stripe’s brand manager for Spirits. “We are excited to be a part of a great concert at the new and improved National Arena.”

‘A Gift for Mom’ is scheduled for Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 6:00PM at the new and improved National Arena and is expected to see over 4000 patrons celebrating everybody’s favourite lady. With a star studded line-up of performers, the concert is expected to deliver on high expectations.
