Motorists should see another significant decrease in the price of gasoline when they fill up at the pumps on Thursday.
The state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam, has announced that 87 and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $123.16 and $126.00 per litre, respectively, down by $2.95 each.
However, there will be a slight increase of $0.20 in the price of regular automotive diesel fuel, which will be sold for $129.08 per litre. On the other hand, ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $132.64 per litre, following a reduction in price of $0.84.
Kerosene is down by $2.94, and will be sold for $107.38 per litre.
Meanwhile, propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $35.76 per litre, down by $0.79, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $37.83 per litre, down by $1.12.
The marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to the prices from Petrojam.
