Gasoline, diesel prices up this week

Motorists will pay more for 87 and 90-octane gasoline when they fill up at the pumps on Thursday, based on the weekly prices announced by the state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam on Wednesday.

87 and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $131.02 and $133.86 per litre, respectively, following an increase of $2.52 each.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $131.08 per litre, up $0.31, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will sell for $134.54, following an increase of $0.39.

Meanwhile, kerosene is up $0.27, and will be sold for $108.95 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will this week sell for $43.09 per litre, down by $1.36, while butane liquid petroleum will sell for $49.12 per litre, down $1.30.

The marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to the prices from Petrojam.
