Gasoline, diesel prices both up again this week
Motorists will pay more for gasoline and diesel when they fill up at the pumps from Thursday, according to the latest adjustments in the weekly prices announced on Wednesday by the state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam.
Gasoline - 87 and 90-octane - will sell for $138.03 and $140.87 per litre, respectively, following an increase of $1.50 each.
For users of diesel fuel, the automotive type will be sold for $137.57 per litre, following an increase of $2.43, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will see an increase of $2.19, and will sell for $141.21 per litre.
Petrojam said kerosene has been increased in price by $2.53, and will sell for $116.97 per litre.
Meanwhile, propane liquid petroleum will sell for $44.21 per litre, down by $0.33, while butane liquid petroleum will sell for $50.14 per litre, up $0.05.
The marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to the prices from Petrojam.
