Gas prices slightly down, while diesel costs move up

Motorists should see a slight decrease in the prices of gasoline when they fill up at the pumps on Thursday, with the price for diesel set to rise.
According to the latest weekly price movements as announced by Petrojam, the state-owned oil refinery, 87 and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $127.81 and $130.65 per litre, respectively, down by $0.13 each.
At the same time, automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $136.74 per litre after an increase of $1.68, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will move up by $1.02, and will be sold for $140.57 per litre.
This is while kerosene is up in price by $1.35, and will be sold for $115.60 per litre.
And propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $41.30 per litre, following an increase of $0.05, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $47.97 per litre, after an increase of $0.25.
The marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to the prices from Petrojam.
