Having been faced with record high fuel prices for several weeks, motorists will see a slight reduction in the price of gasoline at the pumps on Thursday.
According to the state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam, 80 and 90-octane gasoline will sell for $141.89 and $144.73 per litre, respectively, following a reduction of $0.13.
At the same time, Petrojam has announced that automotive diesel fuel is up by $1.09, and will be sold for $146.01 per litre, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $1.71, and will be sold for $150.53 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene is up $1.92, and will now sell for $127.25 per litre.
Petrojam has also advised that propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $56.98 per litre, following a reduction of $1.10, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $64.78 per litre after a decrease of $1.47.
The marketing companies and retailers will add their respective margins to the prices from Petrojam.
