Motorists will again pay more for gasoline when they fill up at the pumps on Thursday, but there will be a slight reduction for those who use diesel fuel.
According to the latest price movements as indicated by the state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam, 87 and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $138.41 and $141.25 per litre, respectively, from the refinery, following an increase of $0.59 per litre each.
At the same time, automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $140.25 per litre, following a decrease of $0.25 per litre.
There is also a reduction of $0.92 per litre for kerosene, which will now be sold for $122.31.
In the meantime, propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $59.07 per litre, up by $0.34, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $65.26 per litre, following an increase of $0.51.
The marketing companies and retailers will add their respective margins to the prices from Petrojam.
