Fuel prices down slightly
Following weeks of record-breaking price increases, motorists should again see a slight decrease in fuel prices at the pumps on Thursday.
According to the latest ex-refinery costs released by Petrojam on Wednesday, 87 and 90 octane gasoline will sell for $137.16 and $140.00 per litre, respectively, following a decrease of $0.35 each.
Automotive diesel fuel is down $0.30, and will be sold for $136.50 per litre, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is also down by $0.30, and will be sold for $141.59 per litre.
This is while kerosene is down $0.20, and will be sold for $118.90 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum is up $0.10, and will be sold for $54.39 per litre, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $60.61 per litre following a decrease of $1.70.
The marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to these prices.
