Fourth child dies from January 27 fire in Olympic Gardens Loop News Created : 13 February 2018 Jamaica News A fourth child has died from the effects of a fire which occurred at a house in Olympic Gardens, St Andrew on January 27. The fourth child died last week in hospital while undergoing continued treatment for injuries which were sustained during the blaze. So far an 18-year-old woman who lost a child in the fire, was arrested and charged and is now out on bail. Reports were that the four children were left in the young woman’s care. However, she subsequently left her 13-year-old sister to monitor them, and went to a dance nearby. The fire is believed to have started from a lit candle that was left in the room where the children were staying. Another child of the 18-year-old, who also got burnt in the fire, is now reportedly out of hospital.
