Detectives from the St Andrew North Police Division are probing the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in his community, and the shooting of three others, including a female, on Molynes Road in St Andrew on Sunday, March 10.
The deceased is 31-year-old Richard Brown, otherwise called ‘Richie’, a labourer of Molynes Road.
Reports from the Constant Spring police are that about 12:15 a.m., all four persons were walking along the roadway when they were approached by gunmen travelling in a motorcar, who opened fire, hitting them.
The police were alerted and the injured persons were taken to hospital, where Brown was pronounced dead and the others were admitted for treatment.
Investigations continue into the incident.
