Four murders recorded in Trelawny last week Loop News Created : 12 August 2018 Jamaica News File photo The once generally peaceful parish of Trelawny last week recorded four murders following the shooting death of a man in his community early on Saturday morning. The latest deceased has been identified as 28-year-old unemployed, Lavante Cameron, also called ‘Vante’, of Bounty Hall in the parish. Reports are that sometime after 12:00 a.m., the police were summoned by Bounty Hall residents who heard gunshots in the community. Upon their arrival, the police found Cameron's bullet-riddled body lying in a section of the community. Investigators are yet to determine a motive for the killing. The death brings to 18, the number of murders that have been recorded in Trelawny since the start of the year.
