Four dead, three injured following attack by gunmen in August Town

Four men are now dead and three others injured following an attack by gunmen in the community of Hermitage August Town late Friday.

The dead have been identified as Richard Clarke, 28-year-old delivery man of H4 Warrender Place, Kingston 7, Ricardo Manhertz, 38 year- old, businessman of  Anglin Place, Kingston 7, Hakeem Sanchez, 19 years old, unemployed of  Granwith Park, Nannyville Gardens, Kingston and an unidentified male

Full details into the attack are not clear at this time but reports reaching Loop News are that at about 10:24 pm, a group of persons was at a bar when gunmen went to the location and opened fire.

The men then escaped from the area.

Police were called to the community where seven persons were found suffering from gunshot wounds; they were rushed to hospital where four were pronounced dead and three others admitted.l.

News of the incident has sent shock waves across the community. A team of investigators from the Half Way Tree police are now on the scene.
